Hubungan Pengetahuan dan Perilaku Tenaga Vokasi Farmasi Dalam Pengelolaan Obat High Alert di Instalasi Farmasi RS X Kota Payakumbuh

High Alert Medication is a medication that needs to be watched out for because it can cause serious errors/mistakes (sentinel events), and has a high risk of causing undesirable effects (adverse outcomes). High alert medication management is a series of activities regulating medications that are specifically in the category of high-risk medications that can cause harm. This study aims to determine the knowledge of pharmacy vocational personnel and behavior in managing high alert medications at Dr. Adnaan WD Regional General Hospital, Payakumbuh City. This study is a descriptive analytical study with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all pharmacy vocational personnel at Dr. Adnaan WD Regional General Hospital, Payakumbuh City, totaling 22 people. Data analysis used the Chi-square test. The results showed that the level of knowledge of pharmacy vocational personnel regarding the management of high alert medications had good knowledge results (77%), sufficient (23%). For the behavior of pharmacy vocational personnel, it was good (77%), sufficient (23%). p.value = 0.024. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between knowledge and behavior of pharmacy vocational staff in managing high-alert medications at RS X, Payakumbuh City.
